Installed early 2006. Attempted to update Spybot
search and destroy, this was blocked by netmop.
Only help on website says disable firewall - sounds
like a good idea ......NOT!!! Program would not
accept password set up to allow administration changes.
attempted to uninstall, but asked for password,
again this was rejected.
No recourse to get rid of this product other than
to re-install whole PC at significant cost. Company
promised refund but then retracted & then re-promised!
Still waiting. Thoroughly dissatisfied & disappointed.

account. However even though they advertised it
as working with any ISP, after they took my billing
information, I was informed that it did not work
with my ISP or with wireless networking. I tried
to contact them about this, and I have had no response
to the e-mails I sent. I did get through to them
on the phone one time, and they told me that they
would not refund may payment because I did not pay
for a multi month membership. In addition, when
I called to cancel, the person on the phone gave
me uninstall instructions for the servfice without
even verifying that I was the owner of the account.
All she needed was the username which is available
to anybody who logs on to the system. I would like
to keep using the service, but they need to make
it compatable with my service. They also need to
work on their customer service skills." -

Netmop is superior in many ways. Netmop is is a
highly effective solution. They also require you
to login to get online and there is a reporting
system by which you can email to a friend or parent
or give them the URL and have them sign in as often
as they want. If you want total protection from
online filth and nonsense, you need to disconnect
your phone line from your modem. Otherwise, Netmop

| "Netmop is excellent at blocking offensive
sites and does not "overblock" sites like
other filters. It's only around $4 a month which
is very cheap for a filter that works this well.
Netmop claims that their filter is almost impossible
to circumvent. I'm quite good with computers and
this filter is very tough to get around but, after
a week, I found a way to temporalily disable it
and surf the net freely. Like I said, very tough
to get around, but it can done. If your kids know
a lot about running advanced programs, they can
probably figure it out. If not, Netmop will do the

| "I am highly adicted to porn on the net and
as a Christian that was tearing me up. I have tried
other porn blockers but they didn't seem to work
very well with my internet and there were always
ways around it. I installed Netmop for a one month
trail for $6 thinking that I had nothing to loose.
I then surfed the net and found that I really couldn't
access all my old sites. I tried many different
variants on words and spellings but I couldn't break
it. There were a few minor exceptions but I was
able to report the site easily to Netmop and they
quickly blocked the site. I have tried to get onto
really "good" sites but haven't been able
to. Installation was very easy and required nothing
of me except to press a button. Once installed there
was nothing else to do but surf and be safe. I haven't
noticed any slowing of my high speed internet speed
(Earthlink) and I have been able to access normal
sites with no problems. There is an easy process
in which if a clean site has been blocked you can
submit the site for further review. All in all I
highly rate this site. I hope I can now recover
myself from the porn addiction that has plagued
