| "We tried this filter for a while and were
very frustrated with it. We felt it filtered out
too many general websites and was very restrictive.
I would not recommend it." - reviewed 11/14/2003

| "I have used Family Connect for about three
years and haven't had any problems with it. I find
it very effective in filtering objectionable material.
Every once in a while I have to email them about
a wrongly blocked site but it hasn't been more than
a simple delay. I would recommend it. I use it with
a modem dialup service, Internet Explorer, and Windows
98." - reviewed 6/21/2003 by Connie |

| "We had this service for a year and it worked
fine, but when I upgraded to version 7 it no longer
worked with Netscape or Outlook. It took me hours
to uninstall manually because the uninstall feature
didn't work, then I had to reinstall my browsers.
Also, I kept getting e-mails to update my account
record even though I had already done it. I would
not recommend this filter. " - reviewed

| "This filter was great on Win95 when Family
Connect was my ISP, however the "filter only"
option using S4F gave me endless headaches. It completely
hosed Outlook 2002 on Win XP. On a Win 2000 machine
it did not work from behind my company firewall.
I was also told it did not work with Covenant Eyes.
Completely unacceptable. Unfortunately I'm looking
for a new filter." - reviewed 4/2/2003 by

| "I know it's not perfect, but I did hours
of research, and Familyconnect is my filter of choice.
I had some trouble when they were my ISP but now
I have a cable modem and use the "filter only"
option. I've used Famlyconnect for several years
and am very pleased." - reviewed 8/10/2002

| "I switched from Family Click because they
would not support Netscape 6. I have had no problems
with Family Connect. It works well with my broadband.
I tried to go to the NAMBLA website and couldn't,
but was able to do some research on them at other
sites, which I am comfortable with." - reviewed

| "Not even close! I downloaded this filter
for its S4F speed compatibility with my high-speed
access and it just simply did not do the job. I
am currently looking for another filter service."

| "I downloaded the trial version of Family
Connect, and tested it. I used Yahoo and Google
searches and found several pornographic sites on
each by simply searching for "adults only".
When I clicked on the links of various pornographic
sites, I was connected to several from each search
engine. I found the filter to be very poor."

| "The fact that we have to purchase some filtering
device to keep this garbage out of our homes says
a lot about this country. It should not even be
allowed on the web. Family connect is not the answer
I had hoped for to keep this junk out of my home.
It lets too much through. I will keep looking. Maybe
the politicians will wake up and get this garbage
(pornography) off the internet." - reviewed

"FamilyConnect has decided to focus on what
they do best. Filtering. They are no longer offering
dial-up access because many of their customers were
switching over to broadband services like DSL and
Cable, and FamilyConnect's upstream provider for
dial-up service was having issues that were outside
of FamilyConnect's control. Their Filtering service
however is the best and fastest that I've seen yet.
Yes, they block certain keywords from being searched
for, but more importantly they only block pornographic
and illegal sites. You still have the freedom to
find sites about breast cancer, SuperBowl XXXV,
and other sites that are commonly blocked by lesser
filters. FamilyConnect's S4F technology wins by
a landslide in all of my test. "

| "A year ago I started using Family Connect.
Recently services were taken over by GoSignup (without
prior notification) and service has really degraded.
I have waited for hours to talk to a technican,
many times without good advice. I had conflicts
with Windows ME and finally had to uninstall the
software. " - reviewed 5/6/2001by Mark S |

| "This is the most comprehensive filtering
service available. It is foolproof and childproof.
Safe for everyone. Get an email and try to click
on the URL and it's BLOCKED. A great, simple &
effective system. You also cannot turn it off! Keep
in mind that it will pull them up in the search
results, but will not allow you to go to the site.
Seeing is believing. Try it and you'll love it.
Try to find a site. Take the challenge. I did 2
years ago and will never go back. " - reviewed

| "The filtering wasn't enough. I typed in
"sex" in the search engine and was able
to pull up many objectionable sites. I would not
let my children surf while using this ISP."

| "We have used Family Connect for 2 years.
What a great filtering service. Before signing on
with Family Connect we never allowed our children
to use the internet unsupervised. Family Connect
has proven to be a trusted watchdog to protect us
as we travel the information highway. Our kids love
the freedom and we love the peace of mind."

| "I changed to Family Connect's Filtering
Only Service after subscribing to @home high speed
cable access. I was glad to find out Family Connect
worked as good with my cable modem as it did with
the dial up! One of my concerns was that it might
slow the speed of my new service. No Problems and
fast as ever! FIVE STARS - Works Great!" -
