Spectorsoft produces several products two of which are Eblaster and Spector Pro. While using Eblaster by itself is effective, it should be combined with Spector Pro.
For example, Eblaster shows all the keystokes entered. So passwords can be detected. But, sometimes, the password is embedded in a string of characters. Specor Pro provides actual snap shots of every screen. So by analyzing the results of both tools, a parent can quickly discern passwords.
Furthermore, not all sites (such as foreign ones) can be detected by Eblaster. But this does not apply to Spector Pro, which takes a picture of everything.
Spector Pro alone is not recommended either. Spector Pro does not provide the email alert features that Eblaster has.
